Harrowing beautiful observations.
The works of Margreet Kramer are poignant. She scrapes the buffer zone between individual and the outside world and moves around in the personal space of humans. In that same way, the film 'She and Me', shows how she explores the cheek of an old woman with her camera's eye. The images are of an intensely vulnerable beauty. Through the small and personal, Kramer wants to throw light on the greatness of each individual, among the masses of people.
In her work, the inimitable play between body and mind is given enough room that it makes the value of everyday acts visible.
